Carrier Rating Scale.

Platt & Associates Inc. is constantly working to improve our customer service. We have decided one of these steps is working with carriers that take extra steps to stand out in their industry with a Satisfactory safety rating and scores of 75 or less, and providing insurances that Customers are requiring. We have decided to rate our carriers on the following scale.

Platinum: Carrier’s that carry a minimum of $2,000,000.00 Auto and General Liability and $300,000.00 Cargo. The liabilities can be met by having $2,000,000.00 of each or $1,000,000.00 of each with a $1,000,000.00 Umbrella. With a satisfactory rating on the FMCSA web page with vehicle and driver scores being 75 or under.

Gold: Carriers that carry a minimum of $1,000,000.00 Auto and General Liability $200,000.00 Cargo. With a Satisfactory rating on the FMCSA web page with vehicle and driver scores being 75 or under.

Silver: Carrier that carry a minimum of $1,000,000.00 Auto and General Liability and $100,000.00 cargo. With a satisfactory rating on the FMCSA web page with vehicle and driver scores being 75 or under.

Bronze: Carrier’s that carry the minimum of $1,000,000.00 Auto Liability and $100,000.00 Cargo. With a satisfactory rating on the FMCSA web page with vehicle and driver scores being 75 or under.

More and more customers are requiring a minimum of $1,000,000.00 Auto and General Liability insurance.

Due to about 65% of carriers have a None rating we can only go by the safe scores in these cases.

Exception to vehicle and driver scores over 75 must be accompanied be a letter stating acknowledgement and procedure to get in order.
